Frequently asked

Does GameVerse need an internet connection?

Every game itself is fully playable offline in aeroplane mode, on the underground, or on a device with no SIM. GameVerse does need a connection for two things that aren't required to play: loading ads, and the optional Google sign-in/coin-redemption feature. If you're offline, ads simply don't show — the app is built to silently skip a failed ad load rather than show an error or a broken placeholder — and games continue to work exactly the same either way.

Are there ads?

Yes. GameVerse shows banner ads on game screens, an occasional interstitial ad after a game ends, and a rewarded video if you choose to exit a game mid-play or opt in for a reward. Ads are what keep the app free with no in-app purchases. They're capped with a cooldown so they don't stack back-to-back.

Do I need an account?

No. Every game, the reward system, achievements and the leaderboard work with no sign-up and no login — just open the app and play. Signing in with Google is entirely optional and is only needed if you want to redeem coins for an Amazon gift card.

What data do you collect about me?

If you never sign in, nothing beyond what the ads SDK collects: the AdMob SDK reads your device's advertising ID to serve and measure ads, same as most free apps. If you choose to sign in with Google to redeem rewards, we also collect your Google account name and email address and your coin/redemption history. For any redemption, we detect your approximate country server-side (from your IP address, not GPS) purely to show the right currency. See the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.

Can I transfer my progress to a new phone?

Game progress (scores, achievements, in-progress games) is stored locally with no cloud backup, so it does not follow you to a new device. Uninstalling or clearing app storage erases it permanently. The one exception is your coin balance if you've signed in with Google — that's synced to your account, so it does carry over if you sign in again on a new device.

How do I delete my data?

Uninstall the app, or go to Android Settings → Apps → GameVerse → Storage → Clear storage. Both permanently remove everything the app has saved on your device. If you've signed in with Google, your account data and redemption history also live on our server — we don't yet have an in-app option to delete that remotely, so email gameverse.support@gmail.com and we'll delete it for you.

Can I spend or cash out my reward points?

Yes, if you sign in with Google. Coins you earn can be redeemed for an Amazon gift card from the Redeem screen (or scanned in-store via a participating store's QR code) — each gift card request is manually reviewed before it's sent. There are still no in-app purchases in GameVerse: you can only earn coins by playing, never buy them.

Some games say "Coming soon" — when?

Sudoku, Word Search, Ball Jump and Block Puzzle are still in development. They will unlock in a future update; we can't promise a date.

A game feels stuck, or my scores vanished

Try force-closing and reopening the app first. If a specific game misbehaves repeatedly, email us with the details above — please don't clear app storage to troubleshoot, as that erases all your progress with no way back.

Which devices are supported?

Android phones running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or newer. The app is designed for portrait phones; tablets will run it but the layout is not optimised for large screens.

Do you accept game suggestions?

Yes — genuinely. If there's a classic you'd like to see, email us. Note that we only build original implementations and won't clone games based on someone else's characters or artwork.

Feedback

If you're enjoying GameVerse, a rating on Google Play helps more than you'd think. If something is wrong, please email us before leaving a one-star review — we'd much rather fix it.
